Appliances

There are many good reasons for choosing Miele. Since the company was founded in 1899, Miele has remained true to its “Immer Besser” brand promise. This means that we will do all that we can to be forever better than our competitors and forever better than we already are. For our customers this means the peace of mind of knowing that choosing Miele is a good decision – and probably the decision of a lifetime!

Miele appliances, whether they are used for laundry care, vacuuming or in the kitchen, are subjected to the strictest stress and endurance tests before they are launched on the market. Miele has won many tests carried out by the Stiftung Warentest, a German consumer watchdog organisation, proving why it is the number-one choice.

Miele. Built to last. Winner of Which? Large Kitchen Appliance Brand 2020.

In 1968 the brothers Pietro and Antonio Barazza established the company Barazza srl, in Santa Lucia di Piave, in the district of the Inox Valley, a suggestive name that is inspired by the Californian Silicon Valley, and that is related to an area, between Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto, where there is a huge production of stainless steel products.

At the base of the success there are several factors: the choice of stainless steel, that is an exceptional material for the kitchen from the point of view of sturdiness and hygiene, the purchasing of modern machineries and equipments, that allow the company to answer to every type of productive demand, the control’s quality, the punctuality of deliveries and the excellent after sales service.

Today the company is present in over 50 countries and is growing thanks to the solid conduction of the sons of the two founders.

Fisher & Paykel has been designing products since 1934 and has grown into a global company with products sold in more than 50 countries around the world.

CURIOSITY: THE FOUNDATION OF EXCELLENCE

Our design heritage is founded on a pioneering spirit and a culture of curiosity. We’ve built our legacy with a future focus that still stays true to the fundamentals of sustainable design. We believe technology should always begin with the people who use it. This has seen us challenge conventional appliance design to create products that deliver to genuine human need.

Our ongoing research and development is backed by a culture of open innovation, collaboration and curiosity – one that seeks to uncover insights and ideas that connect with our customers and respect our planet.

THE SOCIAL KITCHEN – OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

The idea of the Social Kitchen underpins our design philosophy in developing flexible appliances that can be distributed throughout your kitchen and tailored to your individual lifestyle and needs. It is both a concept and a lived experience that connects people with food and design. The Social Kitchen draws on a deep understanding of patterns of use. The kitchen is no longer just a place where food is made. It is where we meet to talk about our day, where homework is done, where we engage and interact as families and friends.

Considered kitchens respect and reflect these patterns of use in their layout and in appliances that provide flexibility. That flexibility allows us to shift between the different requirements we have of our kitchens. By understanding the way kitchens are used we know what our customers are looking for in their perfect kitchen. They are looking for choices, for the freedom to create unencumbered by the restrictions of their appliance.
